What is the LUXAlbum?

The LUXAlbums further expand the potential of our Standard Online Album viewing with a range of interactive features completely unique to imagicam, providing instant appeal to your clients, while reflecting impeccably on your photography business.

The LUXAlbum effectively upgrades the Standard Online Album by adding a range of unique and interactive features. This includes an exclusive online guestbook, the ability for the hosts to change their online album cover image and welcome text, as well as allowing a dynamic and personal input into how their favourite images will be viewed online in their very own slide show. This dynamic image showcase operates side by side with your Standard Online Album.

The album hosts will be given administration of just this section of the site, which is hosted along with your Online Album for a period of 12 months to include the following features:

Interactive Online Guest Book

Once the guests have had a chance to view through the Online Album, the online Guest Book provides the opportunity, not only for viewers to reciprocate with their own good wishes for their hosts, but also to share the comments left by others, creating a hub of positive activity among family and friends of the album hosts.

Select Favourite Images
Up to 100 favourite images may be selected for the slide show – ensuring that only the best images compliment the LUXAlbum experience and make the greatest impact for those viewing and wishing to order prints. This selection may be updated at any time.

Add Captions To The Images
The slide show can be configured to include captions with each of the pictures on display, providing an extra dynamic element to further enhance the viewing enjoyment. This is particularly useful for the online Album hosts to convey information about each photograph and can add great entertainment value to the whole presentation.

Pick Your Image Transitions

The facility to alter the way images change from one to the next is also provided for in the slide show. The hosts can add a sense of panache with classical fades or zap it up with a modern twist!

Combined with the musical choice these details can make a real difference to the nature of the online viewing experience.

Pick A Background Colour Scheme
The mood of the album can also be subtly altered by selecting from a set of two-tone backgrounds. We have kept a neutral palette to enhance the viewing of photographs online without detracting from the images themselves.

Users can also use the built in 'Add To Favourites' feature directly from the slide show should they see an image they particularly like. This creates a convenient viewing structure which saves viewers time looking for a particular image when they go into in the main ordering section.

The provision to add a welcome message provides another port of communication between the album hosts and those viewing the images, but will also impart a sense of warmth and hospitality for those coming to view the online album, particularly for the first time.

Pick And Change Album Cover Image
The host also has the choice to change their album front cover image – keeping the presentation of their album fresh over time.

Days Married Counter
When a ‘wedding’ album is upgraded to LUX status, the newly weds also get an automated counter as part of the album front cover information. Personal Album Admin Area

Included with the LUXAlbum is a personal area whereby the album hosts may manage and update their album at any time. This is called the 'Album Admin Area' and can be accessed at any time.
